hi,

Just wondering if a powersoft K6 can drive 4 scoops pd1852 loaded as they should be , considering the K6 is a limited  K10 ?

K6's hardware is not the same as a K10, however the K8 is and that's a blinding amp.

hum , I think that K6 , 8 et 10 have the same hardware , isn't it ?

that's ok for 4 pd 1852 ?

I seen K6 run 8 scoops sounding great played some heavy bass

I have seen K10 blow 4x PD1851s in scoops, because it went into clipping.

So if K10 can't do it, K6 won't either.

I guess different people have different idea of heavy bass. LOL

Or some people understand how to set a limiter.

There is no other reason for blowing a driver other than malfunction or stupidity.

K8 & K10 are the only two the same.

K6,8 and 10 are identical hardware. Upgrade cards are available to take a K6 to a K8, then K10. If the K6 were different, this would not be possible.
K3 and K20 are different off course.

I suspect you really want a K10 or preferably a K20 for this job.

You can only update K6 to K8. Not to K10.

thanks , I was aware about the upgrade , need 2 step up upgrade to a K6 to become a K10 Wink

so a K6 won't drive 4 scoops pd1852 properly , need to be upgrade to K10  ?
