Definitely agree with your opinion of the HH M900/V800. Many years ago I bought a PPX900 and was disappointed when I compared it to the V800. Moved it along fairly quickly.

I cannot say PPX series sounds bad,not at all,but not as good as  HH V800 or M900,i still have PPX 900 and PPX 450,i love them,proper good amplifiers,and quite easy to work on....can't say that about HH V800 or M900 when is time to service them LOL
