Is this new tech, or old tech 'dressed up' to make it sell ?

Cheers

That is an old technology called BULL SHIT!!

"Direct Energy Amplifying Purifying Ground and Signal Source Noise

Dynamic Energy Recycling

Constant Zero Distortion Power Control

Dual Reactor Phase Shift Control"

These would sell like hotcakes if they were priced at $10k

Most likely just some fairly ordinary Chinese Class-D amplifier modules inside...

Thanks Guys.

Luckily, I did not buy one. The Youtube vid clips were terrible for the sound quality on a phone.

So, is there an affordable /reliable make/model of power amp out there that weighs under 10kg, say, which can do bass as well ?Wink

youre going to get mixed replies which fall into 3 basic catagories

1) there's a wealth of info on this site on this exact topic, literally hundreds of pages. You can read them and get an in-depth look at the opinions  and advice available

2) unless its heavy old iron (void inf8mk2, crest 9001 etc) or a billion pounds (lab gruppen, powersoft) it won't do bass

3) just get one of the behringer nu6000 inuke replacements.

It depends on your budget which you decide to do! (I'd go for three based on cost and warranties)

Actually ill add a 4) which is take a look at 2 websites

blue aran (andy kos on here)

And

Soundgear (Timebomb on here)

Both of whom i would trust to help you choose something suitable.

And tongue in cheek 5) buy one from bishopsound, we're all dying to see whats inside that clone case!

I've heard, from an old croc on here, whom I (mostly) respect the opinion of, has witnessed inuke do bass but only when used with one 8r driver per channel. Wink

Ok, thanks. I was going to use it for a pair of 2x12's ( 4ohm ). So, maybe, not such a good idea......Thumbs Down

I have tried one at 4ohm on bass but the cabs were high passed at 40hz so not really sub but they did very well actually, at the end of the day it is a  £300 Amplifier and for that money I don't think you can complain.

Probably depends on program material too.
