Greetings all

I have a pair of Eminence Kappa15a 8ohm 450 w. I want to build a mid range box. Eminence recommends a ported enclosure has anyone built one ? I would prefer a reflex design.

Any build drawings out there?

hello. ported and reflex it.s the same. you can build a simple one with winisd and tune it. now depends it what fq range you want it to be.

I didn't build the boxes but I have those drivers in dual 15 reflex bins running 80-1khz and they do a great job with little EQ needed over that range. The drivers need about 3.5-5 cu ft per internal volume.
