Hi, just bought a secondhand pioneer gm d8604.. wired it to a liesure battery and a driver and nothing happening, no power light nothing... Anything I'm not thinking of before I send it back!?

Check the manual, but usually on car amps where the power connects, there is a third terminal, will be labeled 'remote' or similar. linking this to the positive will power it up (if you haven't done this already) .

+1  on remote, (acts like a relay, so power is permanent live and the remote cable comes from the head unit and tells the amp when the head unit is turned on.) 

Car amps often have a built in blade fuse so worth checking the fuse if it has one.

Thankyou, thats it brilliant SmileSmileone further thing if anyone knows . It was sold on ebay as a gmd704 but the amp he sent was a gmd604. The specs are pretty similar from the look of things. Does any one know if theres much difference in them?
