Great box!! They sound lovely and can really hand out some good SPLs.

You Will not be disappointed with them Smile

Indeed a very nice box, the only thing to keep in mind is what you put under it.
It does not really have a lot of 'balls' down low.

Two T24n side by side. Sitting ontop of a B30 each. And a BSX on its side down at the bottom. Off you go Clap

The specs say the frequency range is from 65hz to 18,000hz. How is 65hz not ballsy?

My problem with that box is the high crossover point. 1700Hz is way too high.

Thats indeed an odd one. Looking at the graph, something like 1-1.2 kHz would be more suitable.

That really isnt a issue. They sound just fine All the way up there. But pull it down to 1200-1250 and you get bit more crisp and controlled sound image.

I have tested them extensively at my shop. They are good, but too compromised for my liking.
They have passive crossover inside. So using them in passive mode makes them sound a bit weird to me.
It is maybe only my ears that are used to HF devices crossed at 800Hz or so.

vocal presentation is very good and will cover large crowds for PA - surprisingly powerful for the compact size. build quality is excellent !

The official statement:
“I’m glad to say this is misleading - TW AUDiO isn’t going anywhere. There has been a management buyout (finalised just a few days before Christmas - you’re seeing a bit of that process here) to help guard against the effects of COVID-19 and to make the brand and team a lot stronger on the other side of the pandemic, but as far as day-to-day operations and trade are concerned, nothing will change. A full announcement is on the way after Christmas.”

So, no worries.

So long as you are not a creditor and the company “re-structuring “ is not in order to escape their liabilities...

Yes, the local TWA distributor is a good friend. He has had dozens of orders cancelled. Tough times for all.  Ouch

For sidefills, can we have two enormous things of a type that might be venerated as Gods by the inhabitants of Easter Island, capable of reaching volumes that would make Beelzebub soil his pants.

I believe Camden Underworld got a fresh install with them after years of 90's turbo and atc. maybe 2 years ago? It was really lovely to see and they suited it perfectly. high output to compete easily with loud metal/punk bands in close quarters. good vocal intelligibility.
big money for smaller users but somewhere in the middle seems a fine target market for them.
