Well..... that was a pretty fun / special / awesome night. 10 different sound systems all under one roof ( a very special one...the amazing Forum Theatre in Melb)

Sure there's going to be loads of better pics out there but here's a few to start with....

Looks great! Would be interesting to hear a bit more on how the systems compared :)

Wasn't about comparing sounds, more a celebration of Sound System Culture...

No winners .... All different All equal.

Saying that I think we had pretty much every design sub was in the building ! Scoops, folded horn, tapped horn , band pass, the Forum house system J-Subs were in storage downstairs but were still in the building !!

Not asking for winners! But in an art gallery, you can give opinions on the exhibits without being judgmental, surely :)

Though of course, this might not be the place!

Still, would be interested, as you say, quite a rarity to have that many different approaches under one roof...

I haven't heard proper folded horns for a long time and Subtemple's 18" bins were super tight and sounded very clean...fair play to them for designing and building them and their mid-tops from scratch !
All other systems ( apart from ours) were running scoops ( El Gran Mono have 3 x Superscoops behind that facade) so nothing new there....
A great fact is that 3 sounds were running FFa amps even down here !

Some more great photos from Francesco Vicenzi...
