Just picked this up. Such a lovely system. I was going to break it all up but not sure if i can bring myself to do that!

Strictly speaking it is not a Logic system as it was custom built install cabinets for Ivor Greens IK company--still a very nice rig though and it really would be a shame to break it all up as those cabinet stacks did sound rather nice back in the day.

Are those the single 18” folded horn subs? I had a dozen if those many years back, sounded lovely

Yes that's correct Thumbs Up i've been posting it as logic/ik on other platforms but just got lazy when posting it earlier Embarrassed mids should be the original 2206s. Previous owner blew the jbls in the folded horns and replaced with 1851s but ill take those out and use in some other cabs. Need to look at the comps to see whats there. I know some had de85s and jbl 2" maybe 2445/6 some of their other cabs used beyma too. Plus over the years they could have been replaced.

Yes those are good subs. High quality IK woodwork. Sensible size.

I bought nine of them, perhaps 20 years ago, that came out of the Camden Palace.

I seem to remember that the orignal driver is a JBL 2243. (Different cone to a JBL 2241. A JBL 2241 recone kit will not quite fit in a JBL 2243 basket).

Was time consuming to replace a blown driver on them due to having to get your hands right behind the driver to get to the fixing bolts at the back.

They did not have handles on them, and traditional metal bar handles could not be easily retro-fitted due to the horn. Although perhaps flightcase flip handles could be routed into the box to make moving them around easier.

They served me well for some years especially when used in a group of four.

I never had a chance to use them all together unfortunately.

Yeah i've only ever read good reports on them. They dont really fit in with my system so i may let them go as i do not have much storage space right now and they are very deep  cabs.

That is a lovely system. Do  those slot tweeters work?

1 does 1 doesnt. Although it could be the internal crossover gone and not the tweeter itself

Need to take the 18" drivers out but cannot find where they are located? Couldnt see any screws/bolts around the cab so assumed its at the front. Took the grill off Unscewed those but it do3snt look like that panel comes off unless im having a blonde moment as they say

Maybe the guy who changed the drivers used some hardcore glue

On mine there was a gasket sealing strip on the driver access panel.

The panel did take some getting off (carefully) with a flat bladed screwdriver and a rubber mallet as the sealing strip had got very sticky over time.

Very nice, I really rate Logic stuff, I don't know why it isn't more popular to be honest. A club I used to go to and occasionally look after sound for had six 1296's and six of the dual 15" push pull bass bins. That system would cover 1200 people easily and sound very good doing it. The only issue was that the placement of the subs meant that there was a massive flat spot in the middle of the dance floor but four Martin S218's sorted that out.. :)

That's really a thing of beauty.  The ik triple 12s were awesome. Love to hear that rig.

So has the provisonal buyer of the 1x18" subs agreed to have them with the access panel glued shut?

Turns out if was gasket sealant not glue. I'll be opening them to unload the drivers before being sold the panels will be removed
