Hi All, I ordered some of these diaphragms from Lean Audio around Apr/May last year, every-time I called them that have not had stock since, getting a bit fed up with them but no point in requesting a refund if I can’t buy it anywhere, these are for my OHM TRS212. Do we have anyone here who deals with BMS now that Tony is no longer RIP

Many thanks

Have you tried Ohm themselves?

In the beginning I did order from them and then realised they are OHM badged BMS drivers at more than double the price.

Contact BMS direct and see if they can do anything considering the circumstances re parts in the UK?

are you sure they are 4555?
Always thought that trs212 got something bigger.
From bms website:

Couldn't find any detailed information on the compression driver, but from the Ohm Trs 212 datasheet:

2-Way dynamic loudspeaker in a multi purpose enclosure design, housing 2 x 12”
proprietary OHM low mid bass driver, internally and externally ventilated double sided high temperature voice coil, 1.5” exit compression driver on 60° x 40° CD horn.

They are BMS 4555 for sure, as I mentioned initially I used to order from OHM and once I received BMS without any OHM badge :) but at the inflated price.

Only "bigger" HF drivers would be some 4 inch voice coil from either B&C or RCF.
Dont be confused by the size. Completely different technology at the BMS drivers.

To the original poster.
BMS 4550, 4554 and 4555 are pretty much same everything inside.
The only difference is the length of the central black tube. If you can measure it i can compare it with the 4550 and if yours is longer, then you can use the 4550 recone kit but you will have to chop off few mm of the tube. Not too difficult job to do.
