Hi guys
I need a 15 “ driver to go in a reflex cab ( void v15 viper) needs to drop to around 100 h and be good for a nice strong kick and meet the horn at about 1.7 kHz.
I would like it to be an easy to find off the shelf driver
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I have put bms 15n620 in viper cabs. They don't sound quite the same as the original driver, but they were a considered choice and did mine well.

Think you can still get recones for the originals. Or if your magnet has slipped, font be afraid to try banging it back with a rubber mallet.. I successfully did this with one of mine.

Thanks cravings for your reply
What’s the symptoms of a slipped magnet ?
I have a faint vibration/rattling noise which appears to be coming from the driver.
I’ve stripped everything else out the cab ( horn/cross over ) and tightened every nut and bolt on the hardware so am rather sure it’s coming from the 15” driver

Gently press the speaker cone in to simulate it moving lokenit would.. if it moves but makes a crunching noise you've damaged the voice coil or got something stuck in the gap.. if it doesn't move ,then the magnet may have shifted

as an owner of many of these cabs sometimes the bolts holding the magnet become loose, sometimes they are exposed on the back of the magnet (depends on the cast you've got) take a Allen key and tighten them up that can fix some rattles. But as they are now of an age I find the glue on the spider gives up and crack and that causes a right old noise!

Do you have a v15 available to dry hire for Saturday?
