Hi, I'm putting together a little rig after a few years away from the game. I'm in need of a subwoofer and have come across some JBL Vertec VT4880a's for sale. I know these are line array subs but does anyone have a reason why one unit ground stacked would not be suitable for a small system? I used to build my own stuff so don't have much experience with commercially available gear. This time round I don't have the time to build speakers anymore.

Has anyone used these subs? I can't seem to find any reviews for it. Opinions would be much appreciated :)

No problem at all. It's just a dual 18 bassreflex box.

Go for it. Not a bad enclosure at all.
