when it was time of uni of dub... the promoter ask to the sound to bring N subs... old days was about 12 for sound i remeber..

ok speaker size doesnt metter, but what is about double single etc. now how works with this all hybrid project?  
1 double 21" is coparised to 1 or 2 scoop?

i know its a silly question but i like to understand uk promoter's position

It was each sound, no. of bass sub box, not drivers. But in the past year some sounds have conversations and agreement to make it more equal based on drivers, not boxes. 

It's all getting to be a bit excessive, less competition than older times, as anyone can achieve v high output. How it actually sounds is a question and how much you can notice past a point. It's noticeable that mids & up suffer past a point, so the old see-saw of saturating higher freq, so playing louder, not cleaner.
