Hi SP,

I have another topic going on about my mid top cabinet. I have bought 2 12inch horns (used in DAP Stageblaster 1 cabinets) which are phase plugged but with the compression driver. Now I may want to try and design a phase plug and put the CD above the 12inch horn. The 12 inch driver I intend to use is a P Audio SN12-B, which is used in the porn horn. This driver doesn't have an inverted dust cap. What is the design of the phase plug at the dust cap on the porn horn for example?

These are the horn's I have now:

Another option is of course to remove the mount of the phase plug and use the horn without it. My knowledge of phase plug is also quite limited so if it's too complicated to do it right I'm also comfortable with removing them.

Cheers,
Nathan

First of, why do you want the HF above the 12" horn?
Second, looking at the pictures indicates removing the phase plug would be quite hard without ruining the horn itself.

Personally I would search for some suited drivers for the current horn. Altering to much will probably be waste of money.
