Hi there speaker fans. I came across the ASS scoops from back in the day. Can I buy the plans off of someone? Want to have a look at them and maybe build some :) I know of 3 models, RX9, RX18 and S118. I’m interested in all of them really so doesn’t matter which one it is…
Thanks in advance

Quick answer, no.  Tony, the owner of ASS never made any plans public, and is now retired.

Be seeing you.

That’s unfortunate, but understandable. Thanks though!

I suggested to Tony (on this Forum) to release a Book of His A.S.S. plans....Such a Book would be a Good Seller...I will order One now....Maybe if more asked He would act on this Idea....Thank You, Troy Bernard  VECTORSONICS

Tony Rossell is on Fbook/Meta. Why not contact him direct there?

Before speaker plans. I had some ass cabs I bought and needed advice  with. I call the company and tony answer and gave me such good advice. Two years ago I had some rare ass come into my field to help a friend. I find tony on Facebook contact him and . He sends me some some spares for free. Tony is legend. Always amazing knowledge and advice.

Another nomination for the Tony ASS book. Those speakers were so bloody well built. Even with no designs his approach to cabinet making would be well worth being shared.

Back in  the day, the ASS RX18/S118  Scoops, set the build/performance standard,  for Scoops with PD1850.

However now, the PD1850 is obsolete, and there are many modern drivers, that walk all over it, in the right cab.

There is a free Scoop plan, *Mykey Scaled up Fane Scoop", in the Soop forum, that with "few" mods, with right modern drivers, will walk over any ASS Scoop, loaded with PD1850.

Assuming no compromise, build quality, bracing.
