Hi all,
I’ve bought my first sound system!! 2 fane scoops( scaled to 12” drivers) 2 es18 (scaled to 10”) and a 8” midtop. I have an EMM6 and interface so when I get amps for them I can start measuring the response with the drivers they’re loaded with but need to be able to simulate them with different drivers
I’m struggling with simulating my fane scoops… specifically, are they conical/exponential/ what’s the factor? They are loaded with 300w drivers but my plan is to put louder drivers for kick region and cross to a 18” hog scoop that’ll be my sub:)
Any help with figuring out how to plug in the scaled down numbers and area/ YouTube tutorials would be massively appreciated.
Thanks!

Why do you need to simulate them?

They will be exceedingly dissappointing, compared to 18" Scoops.

If you want Scoop sub, from smaller cabs, you buy/build Staiper MS18 Mk1.

My work here, is done.

I don’t need to simulate them but have simulated all other speaker projects and would like some quantitative numbers to go off. I’m not expecting the response to be similar to an 18” scoop. I do want to be able to intergrate a subwoofer at the right level and xover for these scoops and what xover for the mini kicks😁
For the fane scoop I simulated with
S1 272.24
S2 424.64
Exp 6
S3 548.48
Exp 36.6
S4 1073.92
Exp 54
S5 2716
Vrc Lrc Ap and Lpt=0
Vtc 19386.98
Atc 1463.26
Got a very peaky response, but to my eyes it looks useable from 70hz to about -170hz (70hz is also limit of cone excursion)
