We've picked up a pair of the absolute beasts of tops which are the Community RS880s, and are struggling to decide how to best power them.

We will be running them 140Hz+ at 8 ohm, above 6x Martin WSXs and 2x USBs, both of which are powered by MC2 amps (E90 and E45). The cabs are rated for 400W continuous, 1000W programme with nominal 8 ohm. Community suggest a power output of 830-1200W @ 8 ohm. Some options I have considered:

MC2 E25 (probably not powerful enough? )
Matrix XT3000MF (we had great experience with our XT5000MFs)
MC2 E45
MC2 E100 (sell our E45 and run tops and kicks off this)

I know enough about lightweight amps that I know not to judge them off their specs, but not quite enough to work out what to actually buy - any help would be much appreciated, hopefully without breaking the bank! I do like the idea of a matching MC2 rack...

Cheers!
