40 + years gap, I wonder how this two system towers would compare?

have a look at SBS shorty, guy is making a very similar stack. he chats a lot of shit, but i don’t doubt it sounds good. 

my response to your comparison, each to their time and respective music of their era… the fk1 would win in this age, and likely be asthmatic back then without contemporary amps and processing.

It would be interesting to hear them compared, Sound System Clash style, and with their original crossovers / processors. Preference would be somewhat dependent on the style of music being played.

Both were state of the art, for their time and application.

But I agree - with 40 years worth of advances in electronics and amplifier design, the FK1 would probably win.

My bet is on the Big Bertha to dish out the best low freq. But haven't heard the rest of the stack.. I am too young LOL
