Here is a progress pic of our system, just need to finish off the 2 x HD-15s and we are good to go. I'm really happy with the build quality so far!

In pic: 2 x Fane scaled up scoops, 1 x MT121-tda

Question: Before we move to finish the scoops is it recommended to brace the scoop mouth? We have a double baffle already in place and our carpenter put substantial bracing behind the scoop section of the box.

No need, for copious amounts of bracing, just need sufficient, in the right place.

Would suggest the horizontal horn mouth bracing from the Superscooper 18, but "doubled".
Some builders suggest making the horizontal mouth brace straight, not angled, to make build easier.

Thanks for the reply, how is the angle of the cross brace determined?

Don't know, don't think it is technically that important.

When I drew up my own Soop design, and copied the horiz brace from the Scooper, my builder stated. using straight not angled brace here, would reduce complexity and cost.
