Anyone know what's happening with logic? Their old site is still up, but there is a new one up at logicsystem.uk

Looks like Chris Scott is back involved from the About Us page.

Some new Asian ownership behind the scenes maybe?

Was there 2 logics going at one point? Like a spin off with cheap range. My neighbour bought some wedges that were definitely not the normal quality with cheap drivers.

Ah you may be referring to L2 audio which was exactly as you say a cheap spinoff

I've always been a fan of logic stuff, it deserves to be more popular than it is imo. I'm slightly biased though, I have a pair of W&T Ultrasonics AP3 tops, which, from what I can gather were designed by Chris Scott for use in football stadiums originally. They're basically just a big CS1260 but with two JBL 12's on a manifold behind the horn, they're VERY loud, VERY clear and VERY heavy! Smile

Just like EV MTH2. They got that manifold setup also. Extremely loud and crisp. I would guess EV did it first and did it very well!

I know this is off topic but someone is selling two stacks (ie twice what is in photo) of this Logic System on facebook marketplace.

I've never seen 4 x 15" bass bins before.

I have been watching those. They are obscenely heavy and going to need some serious amplification.

That's been on and off FB marketplace for the last year. It's either ridiculously overpriced or a straight up scam of some type.

IIRC correctly they had four stacks like that in the students union in Cardiff, that's forty bass drivers! A venue I did the odd dj gig for also had a pair of those 4x15's (all JBL loaded) belonging to one of the other dj's son, they were only powered by a Behringer ep4000 at 2r but it seemed to do a pretty good job to be fair.

i have been using the 1260 for years and years  now, never fails to impress, 2" jbl 2446 comp ,1 inch ev and a jbl 12 inch mid range , they have a passive x over between the 2 and the 1" , yes they are 80kg but wheels on the back easy to move about and outside they are something else , the later 1290 was also an amazing cab loaded with the same( except for the 1 inch they put a bullet) , 2" comp and an upgraded rcf 12", L12L750

i actually put these into my 1260s ;) , I have bypassed the internal x over as i like to run the 2inch and the 1inch from the lms independently and fitted 4 poles as well as the 2 8 poles that are fitted from new

That's no Scam dude - I've seen it in real life.  They guy Selling it is as genuine as can be.  DJ Darch from Newark; He just wants a good price for Good gear.  it's not everyone's cup of tea as it is massive and heavy but has a presence you can't get out of lightweigh gear.

To be fair I'm 50/50 about buying the tops it as I own (and have owned) a fair chunk of 1260 cabs and it's never let me down.

Five grand for all of this, and from a trusted seller.

Seems very fair to me.

Spoke to the guy on FB earlier this year, lovely bloke, it's just a shame I don't have the storage for it Cry

I really hope they do come back, I've been collecting some logic gear and I absolutely love it. Solidly built, power dense boxes and always get compliments whenever I take it out!

I am still shocked that these have not been sold.

If it is because potential buyers do not see a market for using them, then I think that is a sad state of affairs for soundsystems in the UK.

Hopefully somebody will prove me wrong, buy it, and use it.
