So where is everyone getting their ply from? Is it all much of a muchness, or are there places to avoid?

I see prices have skyrocketed - £120+ a sheet. Yikers.

Jheez, last time I built some boxes it was £45-50 a sheet from B&Q for 13lam ply....inflation is out of control.

Brexit and what's going on currently with Russia has really screwed things up with ply prices..

There's some very good quality marine ply about, for ~£80 per sheet. We're just about to get a pallet of the best quality 18mm ll/ll paged birch ply (from Lathams), which'll come out at just over £100 after vat. If anyone's in the Bristol area, you're welcome to grab some.

Just got quoted £69+vat for 50 sheets of 18mm birch £59 on the 15mm and £50 on the 12mm, im tempted to switch to some high grade poplar for the smaller lighter cabinets, price is about the same , its just as stiff as birch and is pretty durable with a good coating.  Not sure id use it for heavy bass cabs though...

Have done cabs with lathams garnica poplar before and the customers liked them.

Hardly anyone in Norfolk even stocks it. Nearest one to me is £150/sheet for 18mm.

They're great quality wise, but basically the most expensive supplier in the area now. Not sure if that's always been the case. I'd only use them if you were desperate to get a job out quickly, and no other supplier had the material in stock.
