I'm currently building a pair of ms18s v1. In the diagram there's two brace Br4a... is there an optimal distance to place them?

there is no optimal distance, but try to avoid dividing the troath to 3 exact parts (1/1/1), do some shit like 2/3/2 or 3/4/3, also it would not be as effecive doing 1/8/1
