I have this friend and he wanted to build a system but is kinda cheap so got his drivers open box,  2tbx and 2 tbw, if he were to run them all together, would the increased group delay in scoops make the drivers difference (albeit model very similar) manifest audibly more so than loading them all in the same design of a different enclosure, ala reflex so they sum more cleanly-ier? Is he just a dunce and I should throw things at him 

Also, I've heard Eminence scoops and hugo scoops might be easier ones to start with, do you have a favorite fullsize or short scoop that is something a beginner could work with?

I personally would only consider 18tbw100, for reflex.

18TBX100 is nothing special in a Scoop, but works in many designs, Mykey Scaled up plan, would be recommended.

I mean I've seen them sim great in horns, higher end pioneer horns are factory loaded with them, they are the go to recommendation for the keystone, among others. I wouldn't say they are exclusive to reflex but I heard about poor back loading performance, unfortunate, they are a killer driver
