Thinking of building a system using 2 or 3 Punishers and 1 Porn Horm mk2 per stack. Generally it will be live music with some '80's dance!

Anybody have an opinion whether I would be stretching the crossover points of them both or if they would be ok, don't really want to add another low mid cabinet.

Thanks

I don't think the Porn Horn goes nearly low enough.  You could try running the Punishers that high but most claim it doesn't sound that good.

A shame really but some HD15s would do the trick and let the Punishers concentrate on the lower frequencies...

It all depends on what you load the punishers with.
I've heard that the ciare doesn't like it up high

I believe  the porn horn goes down to 140?

Discode, is it near-field sound your looking for? porn horns and punishers are really outside Joby's, well the Porn horn I would say is, looking at the depth and dispersion.
The old gals at the back wont be able to chat.

I've given ours a go at about 130Hz and they seemed okay, the response is certainly loud enough.

Cab resonance though? We go up to 100Hz, max. Keep it doing what it does best.

Got 2 stacks of 3 up to 140Hz in a big marquee, sounded fine. Think we even tried 160Hz and it wasn't bad but 140 did sound cleaner.

Inside a hall I just found that 140hz rattled the sh*t out of everything, 112Hz worked well for me there.

What do you run ontop of them? We use X-tros.
