hello,

I am in the process of building a pair of x12's and I am looking for a diffrent horn set up. The sugested selinium horn gives a 45 x 45 dispersion but as I will be using these cabs for a lot of live work where I will be using one per side so i need something wider with a 2" mount, i can find lots of flares which will fit but are only a 1" mount.  The space I have avalible is 210mm x 340mm aprox.  Any ideas???

my other question is what is the advantage of using a 1.5" driver with a 2" adaptor against using a 2" driver??

any help greatley appricated

18Sound XT1464 60x40

The only way to go (IMO!)

Btw, I run my only version of an X12 for live work with the above horn and they are fantastic cabs for the job.

Arse, just seen the space you have available and the 18Sound won't fit

Most 1.4" or 2" flares will be larger than you have allowed for.  I squashed the 12" drivers together to make more space.
