i wouldnt worry.  the idiots at DAP will probably have made it from chipboard and loaded it with a jensen guitar driver.  not once have i seen a product from DAP done right.

That's what's in there... Doesn't look too promising. Shame they don't list any specs or parameters...

Oh and it's nice how honest they are with frequency response, not telling it to perform down to 30hz flat... Dunno about it with that driver...

Would be nice to know how closely the the horn itself resembles that of the 1850.......Can't be vastly different tho.

Yea. And how much the amp module has eaten from the back chamber...

I suppose imitation is a form of flattery!

I've seen various companies peddling LAB subs.

of course, that wharfedale's not a Lab Sub Copy, but isn't it a rip off of an old Cerwin Vega thing? (having never seen any of the SP plans/bins)

According to the specs on the site, it's about 35% bigger than a 1850 horn. Tho clearly based upon it, it must be quite different in some aspects. Based upon the double stacked magnet I would suppose the rear chamber is much larger.

Maybe it's just made deeper to accompany the amplifier?
