I hv visited the following site where i got info about 25Hz Folded Subwoofer Basshorn

http://www.geocities.com/adrian_mack/homepage.html

To study i redrawn the box to get horn length for my study.

But i am getting 2.5m instead horn length of 2.9m as claimed by the adrian mack.

Driver used : Eighteen Sound 18LW1400
Throat Area                500cm^2
Mouth Area                2000cm^2
Path Length                2.9m
Rear Chamber Volume    95L

The original & redrawn drawing are posted as under.

2) Redrawn image drawing : http://img384.imageshack.us/my.php?image=25hzhornredrawnjx1.jpg

Kindly guide me in the matter about my mistake.

The mouth is too small for 2Pi use.

This horn was probably designed to fire into a corner and the extra length is including the external air path too.

Ok! But how he has calculated the extra length? I know this is designed with .5 pi. I just want to learn how he has designed.

I would say he added the length from half-way into the corner to the front edge of the cabinet.
