In my experience PD's generally work the best in any scoop.

Have never heard anything good about PD1850 in scooper, even heard people ask about putting subs underneath them!!!!

However 18TBX100 in scooper is different ball game.Wink

still we have no definitive list of drivers for the super other than the 1850 which apparently isn't suited even though it's designed for it.

Many times presented, this list has been.

1) V18-1000
2)Wembley Bline 800
3)B&C TBX100
4)FANE 18XB

Couple of Mods will allow V18-1200 to play well apparently. No idea what they are.

My scoop builder loves 'em in his slim chamber, and says they do the job for him.

Parms look half decent, but don't think it would take as much power as 18XB, so is it worth bothering with?

yeah maybe if like me you've got one around... at least until you can afford "big man" driver.
so you don't like the omegas then? maybe i should retire them from the scoops into some g-sub or or single reflexes...

The Sigma has a large Vas, which is good for getting deep bass out of single scoops.

On the downside it has the smallest voice coil of all driver listed, so power handling will suffer.

Its all about efficiency these days mate, and 4x PD1850/V18-1000 scoops and 1x strong amp, can do the job of 6x lesser scoops, with less to transport.

Omega has larger VAS than Sigma, but less X-Max.

Someone I know has 1x of these. Tested it in a scoop, and quickly decided he wants to get rid.

There are now full scoop/mini scoop designs on this forum, that will both work with the above  12 drivers mentioned. Wink
