Hi all, I am interested in building several WSX copies and wondering which driver on the budget would you recommend to load them with.

I have access to Paudio,B&C,RCF and AA Craaft speakers.

I've heard the original was RCF L18P300, but was wondering would C18-650EL be good in WSX?

It is not available in Croatia and if would it would be cheeper to buy RCF L18P300 than SD18

Still not that much difference in price. All in all, maybe I'll be best off with RCF L18P300.

just to check i will look at a recone kit when i get in monday if this is incorect I will get onto someone about changing it.

many appologies if that is the case on behalf of pap.

I can only assume that this originated from inacurate info from p-audio, although I cant say for sure as I wasnt there at the time.

Can anyone simulate WSX LF18G401 loaded in HR and confirm will it work better than the original L18P300 or not because of G401 thiele being much better suited for horn loading then P300.

Comments please.

try to learn HR, it's pretty simple check database simulation thread in otherplans section, there are many examples.

The difference in HR is very little but did anybody tried G401 in any kind of a horn?

Asking because the G401 is the cheapest of RCF 18" speakers for horn loading.

It would but from t/s PZB100 is more suitable. 18 sound is much better for this

1000 or 1400 model but a bit overpriced in Croatia by the dealer.
