A mate of mine has just picked up four working examples of the Altex 604E drivers. For those who don't know them, they're a 15" driver with a co-axially mounted compression driver. These are about 1965 vintage. Any suggestions? |

Well apart from the obvious,put them on ebay and sell them for a fortune to some valve hi-fi nut.....otherwise i guess you could make four nice close floor monitors with them Chris?..im pretty sure they would be to fragile and to valuable for main PA use. ------------- Be seeing you. |

Keep true to olden-days ethics and get yourself a quadrophonic amp, built four basic reflex boxes and hey presto, a truly vintage white elephant surround setup!

ive got two of these loaded in boxes, havent been able to get them to sound sweet at all yet. are they worth a bit of money>!?  ill get a picture....------------- dub it up |
