Subject: similar design, possible simulations?

Hi: my first post here. Onur Ilkorur has a nice web site at this address http://www.yildiz.edu.tr/~ilkorur/ - http://www.yildiz.edu.tr/~ilkorur/  There are two cabinet designs there which are very similar to the HD15, one in particular is very similar. I was wondering if anybody here could do simulations of Onur's cabinet and compare it to the HD15? Thanks moray james.

That's the one. Thanks for posting the link. As you can see the one cabinet is just a little bit larger than the HD15. Tuned to approx. 50 Hz. I would be interested in hearing comments on this design. Construction is more or less the same as for an HD15. Horn (Onur's)looks to be a little longer. Air load in front of the driver is more symetrical and larger than the HD, also would seem that there will be less direct reflection back into the driver from the cabinet walls. The other cabinet design can be configured to form a "W" bin with a second cabinet. Both are very interesting designs. Thanks for your help and time. Regards Moray James.

Simulate it with a larger front chamber than the HD15 (measure it out using geometry) and take the transition from front chamber to horn throat as 1/2 the shortest diameter of the smallest opening added onto the length of the horn (simulated as two conical segments)
