hi
if we put our tamp 2400 in parallel  mode and connect 2 peavey ul18,s (8 oms each) to each speaker output will this be ok .the manual says it runs at 8 ohms in bridge /parallel mode.
obviously this will only be in mono but thats ok for subs.
many tx

Parallel mode just means one signal applied to both channels.

This is not a quality sub amp, like qsc, crown, crest, so I would'nt drive it into clipping if you value your speakers. Wink

4 ohms per channel.
As far as impedance is concerned its that same as running the amp in stereo mode.  Parallel mode just means splitting the input signal and feeding it to both channels.  Each channel has 2 x 8ohm speakers connected so each channel is seeing 4 ohms.
