Hello. I am obout to buy a outline t6.5 amp ,basicaly a powersoft digam 7000 amp. I need a service manual or some schematics of the amp especialy of the power suply module. All fuses are ok but the amp is dead.  Thx in advanced

I tried to fix it, but without schematics, I can't do anything.
The amp is very dirty inside, I checked all fuses, are OK, also Mosfets, and diodes from powersupply part of SMPS and PFC, are OK...
After bridge rectifier I have 310 volts, it looks the command part of smps , doesn't work. ------------- I'm A Stupid SMART Romanian... |

Hello, Switch on and see if you have +18V at your mainswitch and GND. If not, double check the 100mA fuse and the small transformer near the fan. See also if you have +15V at the 7815 Regulator. Had some troubles with the standby supply. Kind regards |

Hello Noob...
I've repaired almost a dozen of this power amps that fractured the cooper trace closer to the Logic Circuit transformer's contacts, which has nothing to keep it tighten to the PS board but its own contact legs. Remove it and you'll probably find immediately the cracked cooper trace below its footprint.

Hello. The amplifier is now repaired and runs like new. A friend of mine gave me the number of the guy who was in charge of repairing outline amps in Romania. The amp did not have anything burned in it , it was just some corosion problems on some part due to the fact that somebody managed to spill some cofee or juice in it.
Me and the user Adircf tested the amp a few hours back it it works fine.

Bryan Yes I have a problem with the input level.' works fine and then will go full blast like the ground is coming off on the level pot. I opened and found the ribbon that connects the front panel has a broken header. I also saw a pile of dust bridging th legs of the level pot. the input circuit board was covered with a fine grit i cleaned all and will test again. have found this to be a reliable and it still works despite this problem. I still have not recieved the service manual from anyone yet. ------------- sounds good |

Yeah, but I don't seem to find any Powersoft Service Manuals there... Speaking of which: I'm interested in the Service manual of the Digam 7000 too. Anyone care to share? Check the transformer TR2 or the bridge rectifier D11.

Hi, If you don't understand where TR2 or the bridge rectifier is D11, then you really should give this to an engineer to repair this as there are very high voltages around the board.  The bootstrap power supply is used to 'BOOT / start' the SMPS and the transformer TR2 along with a few other components are used to do this. The problem you have of the fuse blowing is most like to be in this area.
