It's not that simple

Line arrays are out of the DIY reach for the time being.

A mistake is a mistake only if one learns nothing from it.

It's like a bit line of cabs when lots of rigs get together, except that all the cabinets are alike and mounted in a vertical column, which can therefore get quite heavy.  Smaller systems might be supported from the ground up, but larger ones are normally suspended. Oh, and most of the cabinets are angled.

i thought a line array was all about how the speakers deliver the sound.... as in one wave of uniform magnitude to the whole crowd.

????

there not that heavy actually because they are small

and are arayed in 1 line, and viewed from the side they are hung in a bow effect, so basically pulled from the bottom backwards so that each cab will reach the asscending seats at the same time.

not my cup of tea though, ive heard so many,

i like sound thats in ya face

@mans1000

Recently I have been designing line array boxes, been looking at existing line arrays and seeing how they are laid out internally...

I can tell you... They aint easy to design.!!!
