I hope I have this in the right area, if not, feel free to move it to the proper area, I'll find it.

I have a pair of 12" drivers that I want to build (folded) horns for.  Planning on doing a cabinet for each driver (but willing to do a double driver cab if necessary).  If there anything or anyone out there that can help me design cabs for these drivers?  I have the T/S specs and such, I just need help with the design.  I would like them to reach down to the low 30s, as they're going to be used for home theater, so size isn't really a problem.  Any assistance would be awesome.

build a decware wicked one ( http://www.decware.com - www.decware.com )

its not strictly a horn , its abp/horn hybrid, however it will play down to the mid 20's if its for home theatre you cant get much better for low thumps and explosion sounds

How would I modify the design for 12s, becuase that looks like a very plausible design, as I could then use it as a coffee table.

basically just add 2 inches to the wall height and pivot the baffles around their centre oint untill you get enough diameter for a 12, this enshures the front and back compartment volumes stay roughly the same.

currently modding the cab further to enable the drivers to be flat as were unshure about even presure loading on the drivers cone when dumping 1400w into them

for low volumestuff the standard 3x3ft version is fine, ive got one playing 84hz and down crossed to some old sealed box mission bookshelf speakers. the box at most can get 450w from the dodgy amp that powers it.

these things go very loud, got in at around 7 on nye and had friends asking how loud my stereo went, being somewhat on rugs at the time i tanned some drum and bass through it at club volume, still surprises me when i crank it,probably not as much as it surprised some of my sleeping housemates, (evil grin)

if your in the uk ive got a spare 12" variant thats fully painted and made out of mdf, would let it go for around £50 if you want to avoid the hassle of building one.

ive fallen in love the with the bass these things produce fast and low, an acoustic bass sounds very much like an acoustic bass through them :)

they do make good coffee tables

I live in the states, plus I enjoy building enclosures myself, thanks for the offer though.  And thanks much for the help.
