As the title says, whats better to load the 186 with? a 4ohm or 8ohm pd186 speaker. This might seem like a silly question, but whats the difference?

Depends on how many you want to run and how you're planning to amp them. I would say that 8r is usually more common atm coz that means you can get 2 per channel at 4r (Ohms/number of speakers). If you're using it on 2r per channel, you will get more from your amp but the stability of running amps in this mode for bass is a bit of a controversial subject and could result in you cooking your amp Wink.
