Since the forum has been changed, i'm not quite sure if this is the way I should go about posting in this section. So if there's a problem, then mods please feel free to move to somewhere appropriate.

Here are some snaps from Friday's gig in Peckham. I'd just like to say cheers to t0m from the forum for providing the lighting rig and giving a hand with the setup. Was also good to meet up and have a chat with RosscoPico. Thanks for coming down.

The windows were fine actually, I didn't notice any rattling at all. They've been sound proofing the venue, so it's much better for putting on events now.

With regard to the eastern european lady, she had a little moan every now and then, but nothing too serious. By about 2.30am she seemed to get bored of complaining about the noise and just accepted the inevitable.

The round thing on the floor is a cymbal case. We had Engine-Earz (dubstep) playing with live instruments and synths. They absolutely smashed it btw, a must see act.

good to hear. I might try and do an event there myself if they've sorted out the windows.

They're Labhorns. Designed by Tom Danley for the Live audio board. If you do a search of the forum, you will find quite a lot of info about them and the driver that they use (Eminence Lab12)

@ Audio habit - The 1u amp was not actually mine. It belongs to the person that was supplying the mixing desk. It was driving some stage wedges.

@ Jace - All the lighting equipment was supplied and installed by t0m from the forum, so best speak to him about that. The laser that he supplied us with was incredible. I should have some pictures of it doing it's thing somewhere.

Here are some photos of a night that I provided system for on Friday. It was a private members club in Moorgate, London. Very unusual venue for this sort of system. The managers did not look impressed.

Cheers man. It was certainly overkill for the size/type of venue it was. The floor was shaking pretty hard.

A few more pictures from the night in Peckham. Sorry about the quality of the photos. I gave my camera to my mate for the night as he wanted to takes pictures. However, he set the ISO way too high so they've come out really grainy.

Would have loved to have seen the manager's face at your Moorgate gig during load in.  First set of speakers - raised eyebrows, second set - blood draining from face, lol.

The Laser is mine! ;)

3.7 watt total, RGB. Using Pangolin to control!

1.2w LaserWave 532nm
1.5w RGB.hu 640nm
1.0w RGB.hu 445nm
DT 40 Pro Scanners

The thing is awesome, I have SO much fun playing with it, totally stops me being bored at gigs when i'm not enjoying the music any more, firing full colour lasers above everyones heads :)

Not a cheap hobby by any means! but lots of fun!

How's things going for gigs anyway, tom? You still running your nexo rig? Can't wait until this stupid course is over with (1 month!) and I can get working on my rig proper.

That extension lead on the window ledge looks embarracingly familiar.
The lads I used to work with got bored oneday and decided to make my extension leads rather unatractive to thieves! Spesh, did you by any chance have that from me in one of my sales? Or do you now have my lads working for you? haha

Very odd comment I know, but funny memories for me! :)

That was my extension cable also! It has ISF Disco's written on the back of it, I think it came as part of a box of cables my friend picked up for me in South Wales! Who knows!

Looking very tidy Spesh but.... You need to leave at least a six inch gap at the front between those floods otherwise you are compromising the mid range through comb filtering.. Have a play with the splay and a good listen its quite audible..

Very true. I was intending to only use 3 of the Floods with this stack, but the promoter was determined for me to put all four up there. This basically meant that I didn't have enough space to array them quite as I would have liked.

Cheers for the input though.
