Latest additions:

I was messing with the crossover points and slopes a fair bit throughout the night, got it sounding pretty good running the X as pretty much just a kick cabinet. Would have liked to be able to push it harder really but was getting 22-23A on the Infinite 8 readout at the drop on heavier tunes, which was plenty for the venue

Was hoping for a little shufty at these on the weekend, maybe next time ay kyle Wink

I can't even imagine what that sounded like, just two of the stasys generated enough complaints for us to look for another place to put parties on. Roll on the Manchester noise police, coming to a rave nr your area.

In that case: they are supersonic air blasters to keep any drinks in it cool for the night .
They are also great for properly shaking up some drinks when bartenders are feeling lameLOL.

its because Rog is secretly the designer behind Bose products also - the X's are really just coupled Bose wave cannons with a big resonating box behind, giving that classic honkin out loud Bose sound.... Thumbs Up

Why do you think Void use that particular shade of red?

It perfectly offsets a nice burgandy..

good effort!

How do you find these people who ask you to do silly things with speakers?!....is it luck, reputation or do you go out and find these people?

They get sucked into the flux vortices created at most gigs, then we use a device similar to a pond skimmer to gather them up and fleece them for their financial credentials. seems to be a fairly sound business model so far!Wink

Have to say my favourite is the picture labeled december 2010, we worked in conjunction with Vanguardia acoustics rattling the very foundations of the new BBC media city complex in Salford so they could generate noise maps of the 'disturbance' of a concert held in their new courtyard.
We had hoardes of very irritated business men and women from upto a mile away complaining their multi story office buildings were resonating. Among the concerned were a number of undisclosed personal assistants.... Turns out we had disrupted a secret filming session for the royal family christmas broadcast at a studio half a mile away..let me see your horse-face bass face...!Ouch

to be fair, there is not much weight in those boxes and it would be quite easy to incorporate a safety wire with the cables going up to the cable tray as a secondary.

Already underway I'd rather not have a secondary alongside the main fixing to be honest, if something ridiculous were to happen on the pole the cab should be secured somewhere else.
