Am liking the cogs and gears in there - looks like a cool venue!

Here's a photo of our portably novelty DJ booth along with novelty monitoring;

Our new "Scorpion" DJ monitors as pictured are loaded with a pair of 6.25" carbon fibre woofers and a soft textile dome tweeter for clear and non-fatiguing sound.  They also benefit from having a third <centre> chamber which enables them to have the same amount of gain as a 'bandpass' design even though they are front loaded (i.e. direct radiating cabs).

This custom deck table also has these additional features;

Remote controlled multi-colour LED 'down lights', DJ spot lights on flexible 'goose-necks' and also a hybrid 6th order bandpass / mini horn sub which fits snugly under the table and fires onto the DJ to give a full range sonic experience!

Shame I don't have any pics but a few years ago I put on a student event and flew a 1m diameter mirrorball just above the DJ's head!

Rossco....Nice set up/DJ stand.
I'd like to see the CDJs mounted at 45' though...and raised higher, so you can fit more stuff in.
Looks like you'd struggle to accomodate a 4 deck n fx set or a live dance act....

Farking lovelly new set up though, don't get me wrong :-)
(nice Scorpions too!!)

Hi Strange Daze!

The DJ booth (the one with the Scorpions) was originally designed so that it could fit on it a mixer, 2x CDJ's and 2x SL1210's all together.  If there's additional equipment required, then we can use a deck stand (like the one shown below) as you suggested...so this can provide extra room when it's needed.

We've had a number of live acts play on it and not yet had any real issues with space.  I think maybe the photo makes it look a bit smaller than it actually is.

Anyway I'm pleased to hear that you like our table & monitorsBig smile

Cheers,
Ross
