I've tested it with an old 60 watt amp. It sounds very good smiley32 ! My grandparents's hause is shaking with only 30 watts! It's crazy loud!
The bass is clean and punchy. I've tested it with my two FBT Jolly 8ra active speakers.

The price of the driver here in italy is 133€...

Yes, I've tested it in my garage but only with an old 60 watts amp... Next week will test the sub with the new ampWink! I will post the resultSmile.

Hm, over here in Serbia this driver is actually little cheaper, but with delivery it will be about same price.

I'm actually looking for subwoofer for small parties and gigs in bars for about 200 people max.

Are you throwing some party soon for some real-life test ?

Regards, Goran (aka Lazyman)

No, because I'm waiting for the amp, but when it is arrived, I'll probably do some party and I'll make a video.

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english i'm italianEmbarrassed...

Best Regards, Giacomo.

What Amp and Crossover points do you use?

How many watts do you putting in sub ?

I'm using a THE T.AMP in bridge mode giving 450 watts and the sub seems to be pretty happy! The crosoover settings is 42Hz High-Pass and 130Hz Low-Pass.

I have just finished my test build.

http://www.mymagicsound.com/my-mth-30-build/ - http://www.mymagicsound.com/my-mth-30-build/

I have gigged this cab only once in a bar for 100 people, and it is provided enough sub-bass with 60 watts hi-fi amp and built crossover. Big smile

So, I'm saving for proper amp now! Smile

bdw, i personally think that night there was need for more bass, but people told me I'm insane LOL

Try corner loading it (point it into the corner of the room from about two feet away). Good things will happen :)

I have had this box corner loaded Smile .
But, this bar is weird shaped, with balcony.

I have not had enough time to try different positions for the subwoofer and the sound was not exactly smooth, but nothing too critical. Wooden floor balcony is seriously shaking. LOL

And to answer question about casters, these are 75mm type.
Not sure about best position for handles on box, and this is a one more reason for prototype.
