I've just looked at the background of this pic and realised its a popular free party location not far from me, there's usually a beast of a rig(can't remember exactly what) set up just behind this one, I can just imagine them firing up the big rig behind it and all those red speakers getting blown over like a piece of paper!!

Are any of these rig's in stereo, if they are won't it be pointless them running in stereo as the separation achievable by the mixer and amps will be lost with the cab's all being close together, I can't see the point. You may aswell get your gear from Maplin as run a load of speakers in that fashion, My personal favourite is the one with the ghetto blasters, looks like a Radio Shack/Tandy Closing down Sale!!!

Well said mate, we all need to start somewhere, I put my first rig together over 30 years ago, learnt a lot since then and still learning more, even if it doesn’t sink in as quickly these days.
This forum is one of the best places for information and best practice, but it’s a very fine line between having a bit of fun and personally insulting someone, rigs are very personal things

I feel quite pleased with my rig now having seen this!
Mind you, the club I was in last night for my stag do didn't sound much better than this would have done and the lighting wasn't much better either!
