Hi newish member here, i'm gonna do the same kinda thing as what another member done. Showing you my rig from start to finish. Which i hope will be finished properly next year sometime.

1st rig consisted of 2x 400w tops, dont know they make of them but i know i still have them knocking about somewhere lol.

The speakers in the middle were a set of pa speakers i bought cheap and were loaded with some 600w celestions.

The bass bins are a pair of ohm mr-woofer bins could never really find much info about these. They have 2x 10" drivers in them and originally had built in crossovers which i have now taken out as i still use them now again.

All of this was normally powered by 2x 500watt amps LOL
it was a learning progress :)

To be continued.....

do you wedge the cawboy topend to counter the trap angle of the cabs n toe the topend down to the crowd?

seems to be pointing 20degrees above the horizontal? the crowd hanging off the ceiling?

We normally wedge a block of wood underneath the cawboy. It wasnt done at this party though for some reason? Cawboy belongs to a different rig.

Another small link up here with 8 hds, cawboy top and some cheap top box one of the rigs had at the time.

And before anybody says anything i know the hds ain't coupled up properly, one of the lads from a different rig likes playing rig tetris sometimes. I think this was an unplanned nye party we had after the main freeparty didn't happen in the end. Some people ended up in an asda carpark some people ended up here :)

Really nice to see the progression here.. It's amazing how quick you learn isn't it!

The problem with learning, I've found, is that the more you know, the more you realise you don't know..

Perhaps we should document the SmokeLife rig for your viewing and critical pleasure...
