Hats off to the guys who sanded their way through all that red, and then the horrible black stuff underneath, to restore the Stasys 3 Mk2 back to original wood veneer beauty!

Looking forward to having you guys down at the Ritz in Manchester soon, I'll be sure to pop in and say hello.

I'd agree with you there too!  Am also liking the natural wood finish, certainly gives both the Mungo's and Electrikal systems very individual and unique looks!

Also I'm looking forward to checking out and hearing the Mungo's sound system at the "Wavey Tones" party which is happening in London in the "Busses Building" at the end of the monthBig smile

See you there!

How do you prevent getting bass feedback on the decks?

Mungo's have some ingenius methods , including BMX tires.

yup, BMX inner tubes inflated with a very small amount of air works a treat

They don't put the tubes under the decks! There's a very dubious looking contraption on wheels that the decks get put upon. It doesn't look like it should work but it bloody well does

tubes work really well, a lot better than some comercial products.

Yep, stripped back - me personally, I'd have had new cabs made rather than spending hours grinding away at it with sandpaper but the job is done now

We sanded four Impulse 4i's to bare wood and painted them with Warnex. Sanding took half an hour per box.

Different kettle of fish entirely. Once you get the red stuff off the touring boxes, you have that horrible black bit to get through. Many a drain has been clogged on box refurbs!

Tune wise or rig wise?

Seen the boys playing out lots already this year, always a pleasure! Looking forward to the full rig in Manchester again soon - I assume Kev is doing a little showcase beforehand? I'll bring the Bucky
