They was indeed a good mixer but didn't sell so well, we put a few in installs and never had a problem apart for heavy handed Dj's breaking the red switches off, even had one my self for a while.

Todd Wells was the man behind this equipment, later of Soundtracs and then something else, but I remember him as the man who first brought Piezos to the UK, under Soundout Laboratories.

Martin - really glad you nabbed it especially if you've been after one for years, I did wonder if it was worth my posting up the link, clearly it was.

I found it only because I've been hunting about for a 'small console' for years, the type with the narrow mixer between the decks, and remember Soundout did one, so every now and then I tap in Soundout and this mixer was only the 2nd thing an ebay search has ever come up with.....

Hayling Island is pretty much alongside P'mouth, so it would be an easy swing by to collect on your way through.  Let me know when you have some definite dates/times, I'm about 20 miles north of P'mouth (but will be in B'stoke next week) - it could be handy to swap cab/consoles on your way through?

Console pics will be over to you this eve.

Greg
