Yes, top image seems to have used the mungos photo for, 'reference'.

Haha, no i just noticed not saying its a bad thing and i doubt its illegal as somebody above said they used it for reference..to be honest pretty good photoshop effort! The only reason i noticed is because that's the artschools floor in both pictures and ive never seen/heard a void rig like that in the art school.

I doubt we could win against void tbh....but we would certainly give it a bash.

The reason you have never seen or heard a void rig like that is because there isnt one. Those subs have been taken from the first pre-production images of the pysco and have a completely different type of bracing to the ones which are actually available to buy.

Yes, the top image is photoshoped. Look at the outside edge of the subs near the floor. They havnt quite cut the image close enough.

hey

LOL yeah its a photoshop job.   If you look at the subs, for the centre two you should be looking pretty much straight on at them, so you shouldn't see very much or any of the inner side walls.  Then as you progress out to either side you should see increasing amounts of the inner side walls of the cabs.

However on this pic they only have one cab. They have pasted 5 together to the left, and then flipped the pic over over and pasted another 5 to the right. so you see the SAME AMOUNT of inner sidewall in each one no matter where it is in the line. Compare it to the Mungo's pic where the subs at the centre are almost straight on where as the ones on the extreme edges you can see LOTS of the inner wall of the horn path and the sides of the braces.

Also the edges aren't quite correct in the void pic where they meet the floor (which is obviously just copied and pasted from your pic) they are a little too square and there's a faint dark outline that shouldn't be there.

For the kick cab the shadows are all wrong. Each one has the exact same shadowing, where the left angled part has caught the light more than the right, and the 'V' shape of shadow should change angle depending again on position in the array, it wouldn't be the same in them all as is shown.   They also all have the same little lines on the bottom left and top right corner which are the little elastic straps from the padded covers. Very possible that they would all still have their covers on, but unlikely that the little straps would all be sitting in exactly the same position.

Also, if the Flash from the camera was up high enough to cause that V shape shadowing in the kick cab, then it should also have cause some sort of similar shadowing on the mouth of the horns.

It's defo one pick of a sub, one pic of a kick cab and one, maybe 2, pics of a top cab that have been photoshopped together and then put onto the mungo's background with the floor etc.

And FINALLY, to top it all off those are Stasys 5's and either Stasys 3's or Primes.  In either case everyone knows the tops meet the subs fine and there is no need what so ever for a stasys 8 to do kick in the middle!!   So just purely on that its set up all wrong!!!  LOL

must be. looking closely at the floorboards they're exactly the same. unless the posittioned the rig and took the photo from the exact same spot.

Lol, i don't know why sublime just don't wait until they have the full system before posting these pictures on rig porn/speakerplans.. Although i guess it builds up some major hype?

Yea the sublime v electrikal sound clash sounds fun...shame we can't clash a photoshopped picture though so we will have to see once they have the final product.

You really need to start looking into things before commenting on them.

Those pictures were photoshopped mock ups of potential rigs that i may have had Tom from Stable Audio build, those particular images were also on a temporary site which was not for public eye and was just used for bouncing ideas to and through, but for some reason google must have picked them up, you can even see that at the bottom as it mentions colour choice. (The reason they were void red is that i can't change colours to white lol)

You also say that i was posting these on rig porn??? As far as i am aware i never did that, it is possible that i may have posted some mock ups in the plans section asking for advice, but that's what this site is for.

For people who might be interested in the actual details, at the time were were looking at an invader/ Super Bass Horn rig, with usbs for kick and a 2x12 build for tops. As well as that concept we also looked at an Avant Garde style rig (www.avantgarde-acoustic.de). I can throughly recommend Tom for his advice and patience, in the end though we went down the void route as space became an issue due to the London Emission Zone, the big rig would have needed and 7.5 tonne lorry which would have had to been later than 2006 which was not financially viable. The void rig fits comfortably in a xlwb LT and that than only needed to be 2002 or later.

For the people who are more interested in the pettiness, when we started building our website, we used the same blog as Electrikal (wordpress) and at the beginning we used a mock up of their 'DJ page' which they didn't like. Rather than just discreetly contacting us over the issue and leaving it at that they also had to plaster it here/squatjuice etc. After sorting it all out, i thought the issue was resolved but apparently not.

There also wouldn't be a sound off either, we are not a 'sound', they use scoops, we use Stasys X's, our genres are different, they are up Scotland we're down South, and quite frankly I couldn't be arsed.....

Happy Friday all !

Regarding squat juice we dont even have membership so that's clearly not true we posted here for advice on what to do with somebody who directly lifts pages from your website and then advertises them on facebook.

You also didn't take it down until dirt Bryan said he owned the rights to the pictures that you also posted on your website. To be fair guy sElectrikal, dirt, and Mungos have all had content stolen/ put on your website which you are publicly advertising on fb. I'm not been petty dude I justthink you need to hold off with the advertising of your system if it isnt finished and the website is for test purposes only.

Soundclash sounds fun

How on earth can you blame me when i never posted that, as i said previously those mock ups weren't for the public eye, no idea how that guy got them. Why not waste your time chasing him up instead !

I photoshopped a stage floor onto a mock up of a rig, whoaaa big deal, why being so petty, is this really making you look good???

Bryan mentioned one picture AGAIN when i was building the site, AGAIN i removed it.

Soundclash would never happen, why would i want to involve myself with people who try to act like school bullys !

This really is getting boring now!!!!!

I think you forget that I got in touch with you on fb and that's why I know you are advertising your website/ system I wasn't been petty, you Stole pages word for word from our website.. And regarding the Mungos Hifi picture not once did I say it was a bad thing... Look on the first page

Two lines of text from your crew page, which i did mention earlier in this thread.

Yes you did contact me via facebook, and this was pre-June, before the site went live.

So you are saying that every single image on your facebook page and website is your own? I just had a brief look at your wall photo's and pretty sure there are some which aren't. Can you also honestly put your hand on your heart and say that every flyer you have produced hasn't sourced part of an image from somewhere else like google images or something?????

I'm not saying whats right and what's wrong, i just trying to make a point......

All you have achieved here is to make the pair of us look like idiots on SP, thanks for that and Happy Friday !

Rig politics can only be resolved with... A soundclash! :p

Regarding out images... We own the copyright to every image thats put on our website from our events down to our sound system promo shots funnily enough... Because we pay photographers to take photos for us not steal other people's work.

I also mentioned your elektikal facebook page, and also flyers???

I presume you designed this then???

A soundclash could never be agreed upon, again i say i am not a 'sound' and would you honestly put say 10 hogs against 10 X's??????

Lol are you kidding me dude

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=217404931611372&set=a.189032697781929.45176.120641757954357&type=1

I totally dont get your argument here man..it a wall post on FACEBOOK im talking about your website - thats like saying people can't post up pictures on this forum or facebook  unless they made them - this is not what im saying..but putting them on ur website for promo/monetary gain is a different story.

The picture you posted up is clearly not on our website nor in our media folders lol it was a picture posted up for the end of the world??? - this is an image we have linked via our facebook wall...im totally lost at your argument.  check the rest of our folders all 100% ours..not stolen from mungos, dirt or any other system....

look at our actual folders

http://www.facebook.com/media/albums/?id=120641757954357

and you will notice a watermark on everything because as i said we pay for our photos instead of stealing them from other systems without credit!

Anyway, i don't get the point of this argument all i was posting was a picture of a photoshopped rig..

Happy friday to you too :]

We actually have 12 hogs with another 2 been built + 6 double usb bins,...so yea it why not!!

Posted By: Sublime
Date Posted: 24 June 2011 at 5:22pm
It's the same for me, i really don't get your beef????

Why not act a grown up, admit we don't get along and move on. If you really want a row start a topic on Squatjuice and i'll pop on over, SP is too nice a place for this crap.

As i said earlier why a sound of could never happen, you are saying you'd have 14 hogs and 6 usbs, the Void equivalent would be 14 psycos and 6 X's..... mmmmmmmm

We can carry this on for ages and ruin both our Fridays or take the high horse and get on with our weekend, the choice is yours.......

What are soundclash rules, im sure its just your total sound v another sound?? Or does it have to be equivalent amount of speakers?

I have no beef dude, im a very chilled person i just think this whole thing is rather funny.. just get your own pictures/photographer and or use original content...or keep a tighter lock on ur images so they don't leak online if they are not for the public to see.

Im not looking to argue anymore as its getting rather pathetic.  However soundclash sounds fun!

Sublime, In order to avoid these sorts of issues try reading this:

http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess.shtml

That way you can have your sites in progress password protected, and stop search engines listing them etc. I use them when I'm working on sites before they go live, would save a lot of confusion over an innocent misunderstanding.
