Here's a couple of scrappy shots of the system as it ended up in Southend last night.

The top cabs are the mid hi. The cabs underneath are the bass cabs.

For those who haven't seen previous pictures and explanations of the system, the subs are the standard Rxjnr's the bass are 1x15's and the tops are 2x12 mid and co-axil compression driver on asymetric horn. The tweeters are the latest edition. All cobbled together, it becomes the R2U system.

Nice looking system Clap. I take it there were was a height restriction . Tony have you thought about doing a version of the tweeters so they sit horizontally . This would do really well among the Roots/Dub sound system guys.
Maybe they just need a stand or base  where the tweeters sit slightly pointing downwards so the top row fire straight and the bottom row firing slightly downward at an angle. Just a thought.

LET THE BASS ROLL LIKE THUNDER

Having horizontal tweeters causes problems with going in and out of phase. The positions of these tweeters including the gap which cancels out coupling have been optimized to give the most even response through 60 degrees which is the dispersion angle of the system. Also, if you think about it, vertical placement gives better coverage when aiming at peoples ears down the room. Thats why they sit like that.

Tony, would love to come and hear the system next time it's out.  Southend area works well for me, I'm in Romford but my mum lives in Leigh-On-Sea.

Regarding the club, I'll have to get back to you on that one. I've actually done gigs in there. It's an appropriate place as the address is Roots hall. Just remembered, I think, is it the Shrimpers.
