Just a little about it's specifications and ratings.

It's a line-source array with 2 10" low mid drivers and a 2"/1" coaxial driver mounted on a three dimensional wave guide for the high mid and high frequenties. The horizontal coverage is 120° and the vertical coverage depends off the number of cabinets and the angle. The maximum SPL of an array of 6 cabinets is 145 dB. The phase response is close to perfection and the sound is really good with lots of dynamic and a very good low frequentie response down to 50 Hz (without subsShocked).

Any reason the bottom cabinet is pointing at the floor ? Surely infill's would have been better ?

All cabinets are pointing on the floorWink, in this configuration infills are not necessary, infills are a good solution for the coverage but they also introduce lots of problems.
Here a pic off the same location a few weeks earlier with 6 cabinets per side.

If you give me a good system processor with some good filters (allpass) and delay's i can solve most problems that occour when using infills Smile. In this venue there was no need for infills .
(by the way i'm the guy that did the sim-ming on this set-up)

I know that there is a solution for most of the problems but that solution is also one of the problems.Wink

Not that I know much (or anything really) about Line Arrays...
But a solution to a problem is never a problem. It's a logical absurdity.

Tidy, i love the grills, simple and by the sounds of it effectiveThumbs Up. What is the price tag on a set up of six per side minus the subs?

No it isn’t.

This doesn’t apply here, but whilst you feel the need to pick holes, I feel the need to correct your statement.

What about Bose?

One could say, “why don’t you just design a box that sounds nice, naturally, rather than design a box, that needs a shite load of EQ to make it sound, ‘okay’?”

The solution, is the problem in this case also.

As you were ;-)

hey

i thought i had posted this before but was on the road and must have had a connection blip. Can I ask what the grill holes on the side are?

Is it simply the ports or is it some sort of side firing, rear rejection thing?
