Could these top cabinets be turbosound ? They are for sale locally here , but I find the asking price is too high ( 500,- / pair ) . I seem to recognise a fane HF250 bullit or am I wrong .
The other bullits seem to be Beyma cp 16 . Haven't contacted the seller yet .

Afaik. the turbo mid devices (that the mid flares on these do resemble) have only two "legs" on the phaseplugs, these have three, so probably not even the flares will turn out to be genuine turbo, my guess is that the cabs are definately not.

I don't think Turbo ever did a pair of horns in a horizontal arrangement as a single moulding did they? In fact the comp horns look to be part of the same thing too.

Could be Stage Accompany (Dutch speaker company)

Watch out for loads of irritating popups

^That would make more sense,as the photo itself is from a Belgium website.

Stage Accompany did do quite a few cabinets with aluminum edging in a semi flight case style a few years ago and it looks like one of their older products. Definitely not Turbosound.

I quite like the old skool-ness about them but I bet they comb filter like hell with the horizontal layout, they would probably sound better on their side, as in the photo, but then the dispersion would be extremely narrow. They do look 'ard though!Wink

That's Music-Son, www.musicson.com, Spanish manufacturer back in the day when TMS-3's were the rage. If memory serves me right, TurboSound took them to court for the use of the 'Turbo' name.
Beyma components in those cabs. 2x 10G150, 2x CP-30 or CP-300 and 2x CP-12 or CP-15.
As in in the picture is exactly how they were sold back in the day, the Fane is an added item.
A complete package was one of these plus two Cubo 15-like boxes with 15G400's in them.

I do NOT think this is Stage Accompany. I have never seen products from SA that even look closely like this. Yes, they made flight-cases speakers, but a lot of manufacturers did that.
SA never made products that were called 'Turbo'.

For more info about vintage SA, take a look at this site:
http://www.sa-vintage.com/" rel="nofollow - http://www.sa-vintage.com/
The TS could also contact them, or even SA themselves. For conformation

I have seen some products that were called 'Turbo' before. Some amps and so. I never knew what it was. Seems to be that Turbo was a manufacturer

The cabs look like a self-made mess to me. Why would you need a horn loaded comp, a bullet AND two tweeters (piëzo?!)...

Greeting

Good point I must concede, it doesn’t look like a design that a professional company would come up with, though a lot of effort has been put into those fibreglass mouldings.
