hello

apologies if this topic exists somewhere else, but i figured id ask..

Has anyone ever tried re-scaling the keele 18" w-bin for a 15" driver..?? and if so what did you think??
and if not... what do you all think might happpen??

the plan is to use a nice modern neo driver.. and (hopefully) i might get a usable response up to dare i say about 300, (all be it with a bit of eq)..

the plan is to use these above subs for big stuff.. and depending on drop, as bass end for band pa..

any thoughts are very welcome..

im very close to just building one... but am acutely aware of the fact i wont be able to "fully" appreciate the box on its own.

would need remodeling, its not just a case of removing 3 inches from anything, would need alot of work but why would you want a scoop to go upto 300Hz, surely it wouldnt sound nice atall?
