Kicking these off tomorrow.

Got the timber and got it into a spot thats gonna cnc it for me!

Anything i need to tell your man about the cnc work?

he builds coffins and have seen his work, he's very tidy and has shown
an interest in this so should be good.

Also i got a kreg joiner today , 90 dagree one , would that be any use for doing the outside
joints instead of just screwing right up into it?

from all reports the colossus 1000 does the job very very nicely. Im sure the 1500 would too but personally I wouldn't spend extra for it.

Posted By: discosucks
Date Posted: 01 June 2012 at 2:40pm
Its only 20 euro extra , but im not sure will sort it out this weekend :)

Posted By: Keen

Gee wiz, couple of weeks ago the 1000 was 315 euro at Thomann. sorry mate

edit: just checked the thomann site and some of the drivers are TWICE as much at they were a few weeks ago?? it has to be a typo, cant be right.

Whats the deal with intrusion from handles ?

These are 62mm deep and will intrude deep into the box does this affect the way the box will preform?

-------------
Work hard play even harder

Posted By: discosucks
Date Posted: 24 July 2013 at 12:40pm
Not sure do the MT130's play low enough to meet the cbe's .

I run the cbe's 35 - 112 . after that the 15 in the h3's kick section takes over .

Very happy with my new h3's , they give a very clear sound from the 10" driver . definitely the impact
i was looking for . But they are very big LOL .

Posted By: shello79
Date Posted: 24 July 2013 at 3:48pm
i spoke to marco the designer of the mt-130 ,he told me the double mt should do 110/100 hz.
also about the cbe ,i know its a flat to 40 design do you eq it to 35 and highpass at 32 or 30 or do u just high pass at 35

Hey Disco, CBe's seem to work well in vertical position nothing noticeable sound wise  and Shello Double MT130 have no problem meeting the Cyclops. Disco you could make risers to the height you need that double duty as road cases for cabling Etc
