Hi, firstly I apologize for my English, I help with google translators, and I do not know if the form is correct.
I am interested to build a porn horn like what you see in the picture, but I can not find a site where I can buy a horn like that.

www.proaudioparts.co.uk is recommended but I can't open the site
Some other website where I can find it?
for open-air disco, where on play house and electro is indicated? How many do I need it for a good sound pressure?

Thanks man, with photos also add to the plans or you thinking of selling it?

I have seen on speakerstore.nl the Hoorn Limmer 308 and for me, I think it is very expensive for a piece of plastic. At the same price I bought two speakers with an amplifier.

Maybe porn horn is much louder than I have. But not being an expert I can not compare.

For the uses I have mentioned could fit the porn horn or you suggest other project?

Hi Th3

It's not just a piece of plastic (limmer 308) it's fibrglass too, and also has a comp horn. Add to that the R&D etc etc. This isn't instant crap injection moulded plastic. This piece of kit is the end of your chain, this is what produces the sound at the end of your equipment. If that don't sound good then there is no point in having XTA and Powersoft is there

closest to what I have to offer (but please don't compareWink) is this @330 euro http://lsv-achenbach.de/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=56&products_id=472&osCsid=6ea753212aa431f4bab8707084dbe21f
probably vat to add and I can't see a back bowl?

Keep and eye out for the SP12

I'm sorry but here I still have much to learn, and the picture looked like plastic. However thanks for the information and I avoid thinking that they are thieves

is it hard to do horns with bolt holes in them? i'd be worried about cracking glaze or worst splitting the glass drilling them if i bought them.

i've noticed the xtro fibreglass horns also don't seem to have pre drilled bolt holes.

look lovely though

and i assume they come with back bowls.

thanks Cravings

trouble is with fibreglass horns, over a short time they shrink slightly. So if i told you the hole arrangement sizes, by the time they arrived at you, the holes would be out

these are my new way of doing horns. No cutting and grinding. The SP12 pops out of the mould how you see it there. I would prefer to leave the hole making to the new owners. You won't have any problems with cracking....trust me ; )

Would you use a dremel, angle grinder or hi speed drill with glass bit? i was thinking about cutting out a curve section on my double 8'' horn from you, to allow a overlap of my XT1085 horn.. this would look sweet and reduce height.. should i leave it?
